Lodge Cross Reference and Family Tree Database - Overview

The Lodge Cross Reference and Family Tree Database (XREF) contains a record of all lodges which have at one time been recorded on the Register of the United Grand Lodge of England since 1863. Where necessary, Lodges which were erased prior to the formation of the United Grand Lodge of England are also included to ensure completeness of the family tree charts. Also included as "pop-up" information for Lodges which pre-date the current (1863) numbering system are all the previously known numbers (e.g. Antients or Premier Grand Lodge) applicable to the Lodge being displayed on screen.

This information is copyright, and reproduced by permission, of the United Grand Lodge of England.

The program provides a fascinating glimpse of the genealogy of each Lodge and has been designed not only with serious historians / researchers in mind, but also as a package which can be explored with interest by the newest Initiate.

Copies of the application can be obtained (price £ 12 inc. P&P) by writing to John Amos at 21 The Spinneys, Eastwood, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex SS9 5QZ.

Why not obtain a copy for your Lodge or yourself. All profits from the sale of the program will be donated to the New Masonic Samaritan Fund.
