How to Use

This section gives a step-by-step guide for obtaining the Family Tree chart for a specific Lodge.

It should be noted that searches will be quicker if the data is filtered. This can be achieved using the Set / Reset Data Filter command from the Main Menu.

1.	Select View Record Details from the Main Menu.
2.	Click on the Goto Lodge No. button, enter the number of the Lodge when prompted and Click the OK button to continue. See also the instructions for Goto Lodge No..

3.	Click on the Goto Lodge Name button, enter the name or partial name of the Lodge when prompted and Click the Search button to continue. See also the instructions for Goto Lodge Name.
4.	The application searches the database for the requested Lodge and when found shows details for the Lodge and the Mother Lodge. It should be noted that if the Mother Lodge is shown as Lodge No. 0 with a Lodge Name of "Root", this indicates that the Lodge requested is the first Lodge in a new family line (or chart).
5.	Review the screen to establish which chart the Lodge appears on. View Chart or View Chart Details can now be selected from the screen to avoid having to return to the Main Menu. Alternatively, continue with step 6.
6.	Click on the Close button to return to the Main Menu.
7.	Select one of the following from the Main Menu :- View Chart Details Print Chart Details View Chart Print Chart Set / Reset Data Filter and select the relevant chart number when prompted.
