Database Revisions

The Cross Reference and Family Tree Database is regularly updated with additions, deletions and revisions to Lodge details in line with the Quarterly Communications from Grand Lodge as well as the Masonic Year Book. The specific database version in use, together with some useful Lodge statistics, is shown in the Help About... screen available from the Main Menu. See the relevant section of this guide for example screens.

Also available from the Help About... screen is the ability to Review Database Revisions. This feature reads information contained in the database to provide the user with the date of specific revisions and the actions that were taken at that time. This would include the numbers of the Lodges added, the numbers of the deleted Lodges and finally, the numbers of those Lodges where details had been revised. Examples of this latter case are name changes where one Lodge has returned it's Warrant and amalgamated with another Lodge and deciding to amalgamate names and Lodges that change their Jurisdiction. However, these cases are very rare.
